Amy Smart was an American model as well as actress. She was born in California USA, Amy Smart started her modeling career in California. Her first acting role was in the 1996 TV movie Her Costly Affair. From there to starring in a minor role in the film Starship Troopers she struggled very for a long time. In the beginning, it was difficult for her to transition from modeling to acting. It's because the majority of models aren't great actors. And they are usually assigned small and insignificant parts. Amy did her best to get noticed and was eventually offered larger roles starting in The 70s, the movie Varsity Blues. Amy then moved into leading roles in 2005's romance film Just Friends starring Ryan Reynolds. Amy got her first recognition for her efforts over the past 10 years. Amy went on to appear in major film projects such as the Crank Series opposite Jason Statham, and Shameless.
