Amy Smart, an American actress and former model. She was born and raised in California USA she started her modelling career in Italy. She began her acting career at the age of 16 in The TV movie Her Costly Affair. Her fight to secure a part for Starship Troopers, a film that featured mostly minor roles, was very intense. It was a hard time for her to make the transition from modeling to acting since models were not considered to be good actors and tended to be assigned smaller roles that were insignificant. Amy did not give up and ultimately she was offered bigger roles in the films Varsity Blues and The 70s. In the course of a couple of years, Amy took the leap into more leading roles. Amy was in the 2005 romantic comedy Just Friends alongside Ryan Reynolds. Amy received the recognition she'd been looking for for over a decade. There were several major films within the Crank trilogy alongside Jason Statham. And she also played a recurring role on Shameless. Shameless series.
